We will keep it current with any news, developments and details that are relevant to the Practice and our patients. We are experiencing many calls from patients who have been "Tele Called" by Pharmacy Companies who have reportedly introduced themselves as follows: "We are NHS Cumbria; can you please update us about your Repeat Medication Prescriptions".
We wish to stress that these companies are not affiliated to Castlegate Surgery in any way and they DO NOT have any of your personal information. Presumably they are using a Cockermouth phone book. In particular the complaints have been from elderly and vulnerable patients.

Using Patient Access at Castlegate Surgery, you can now book your appointments online and order a repeat prescription all from the comfort of your own home.
If you are a patient at the Castlegate Surgery and you wish to start using this service, you can create an account using the link below. Once you have created your account, you can book one appointment at the practice. On the day of your appointment, please bring in proof of identification (passport or drivers licence & recent utility bill) so that we can complete your account sign up registration. You will then have full access to Patient Access.
